Background Images

1. To set a background image for your webpage, right-click anywhere on the page.

2. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Page Properties....

3. This will open the Page Properties window. Select the Formatting tab.

4. Select the Background picture check-box.

5. Either type the path to the image you wish to use as your background, or hit the Browse... button to navigate to it.

6. To make your background picture stationary on the user's screen, select the Make it a watermark check-box.

6. Hit OK.

 

 


 

Inserting Images

 

1. To insert an image, click the Insert Picture From File icon (highlighted).

2. This will open a dialog box which you can use to navigate to the picture you wish to insert.

3. Once you have selected your desired image, click the Insert button.

4. This will place the image in your webpage. To modify the properties of your image, right-click on it and select Image Properties....

 

 

 

 

 


 

Themes

1. Themes allow you to apply pre-set design elements and color schemes to your webpage. To begin working with themes, select the Format drop-down menu and select Theme....

2. Doing this will display a scroll-area on the right-hand side of the screen that displays a list of available themes. Apply your desired theme by double-clicking on it's picture.

3. To insert a page banner, open the Insert drop-down menu, and select Page Banner....

4. This will open the Page Banner Properties window. Select whether you desire an image or text-based banner, and type the text you want your banner to contain.

5. You can also use themes to create navigational buttons for your webpage. To do so, open the Insert drop-down menu, and select Navigation....

 

 

 

 

 

6. This will open the Insert Web Component window. By default, it will have Link Bars and Bar with custom links highlighted. Click Next.

7. The next window will allow you to choose the style of your navigation buttons. By default, Use Page's Theme will be highlighted.

8. Once you have chosen your style, click Next.

9. Choose whether you wish your buttons to be aligned horizontally or vertically. Click Finish.

 

 

10. When prompted, enter a name for your link bar.

11. Click on Add Link... to add a button to your link bar. This will open the Add to Link Bar window. Enter your desired target of the link in the Address text-field. Be sure to enter a title for your link in the Text to display field (highlighted in red). Click OK.

12. Repeat step eleven as needed.

13. Click OK.

Hyperlinks

1. To create a hyperlink, type in the text that you wish to be a link.

2. Right-click on said text and select Hyperlink... from the drop-down menu.

3. Enter the address to which you want your link to point.

4. Click OK.
