You and Your Projector

Please remember to take off the lens cap before powering up the projector as well as powering up the projector FIRST before powering up the computer. To shut down the Media Cart, press the power button 2 times on the projector itself or the remote, and power down the computer. Also remember to replace the lens cover to protect the glass from scratching or dust.

 

You MUST wait until the fan has COMPLETELY stopped before unplugging the cart.

 

These are the MAIN function buttons of your new Dell 2400 Projector.

 

To power up and down the projector use the standardized power key (1).

 

When and if the “Temp” (6) or “Lamp” (7) lights light up amber, contact BACS Multimedia Services immediately. Your projector will be replaced immediately as to not interrupt your class.


 

You and Your Remote

These are the MAIN function buttons of your new Dell 2400 Projector.

 

To power up and down the projector use the standardized power key (1).

 

This remote has the capability as acting as your MS PowerPoint forwarding device, using the “Page Up” (5) and “Page Down” (6) buttons.

 

When needing to change from the Computer interface to the DVD or VHS Interface, if the signal does not change automatically, use “Source” (4) to toggle between the inputs. “Composite” will be for DVD/VHS, “PC” for the computer.

 

To keep the projector ON while blacking out the display, use “Blank Screen” (8). To return to your presentation simply press “Blank Screen” again.


 

Projector Troubleshooting

 

My screen is too small / large / out of focus:

Use the zoom (1) and focus (2) rings to adjust the quality and size of the image. You can also use “Auto Adjust” (6) on the remote to readjust the signal quality.

 

 

My screen will not come on:

You can toggle through the video settings on your GATEWAY using the function key (green FN key) and the F3 key. Press this combination once and wait about 5-7 seconds.

 

You can also using the remote press the “Source” (4) key to toggle to the correct source your needing for your presentation.
