Technical Support - Place a Service Request

 
 

One of the primary functions of the Technical Services area is to provide end user support to the students, faculty, and staff of the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration. This support includes hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, network troubleshooting, network cabling, and support for software supported by the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration. The rollout of new software and hardware is also provided by Tech Services, as is the implementation of new technology that has been tested and approved by the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration.


All service calls should originate with a call to the service number in the Dean’s office at 742-3188. Most calls are responded to by a member of Technical Services, however calls which require another staff member’s area of expertise are passed on to that member of the BACS staff. This allows Tech Services to provide the fastest and greatest level of support to all users. We have found that service calls are answered quicker with less of a chance of "dropping" a call by going through this simple procedure.
