How do I access my e-mail when I'm out of the building?
The web address that you should bookmark on your home computer is http://bant2.ba.ttu.edu/exchange; with this URL you can check your e-mail while outside of the Rawls College of Business' network. Please remember, when entering your username and password, to specify your domain. Some systems may require you to insert "BA\" before your username (e.g. "ba\username"). For more information on using Outlook Web Access, please check out our tutorial.

What if I forget my password and get locked out of the system?
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that the "Caps Lock" button is turned off and "BA" is selected as the domain. If that does not solve the problem, please call 742-3188 and log a service call. Your password will be reset and you will have to create a new one the next time you log on.
Should I lock my workstation?
Absolutely, yes. You should always lock your workstation whenever you leave your desk unattended and do not wish to log-off or shut-down the system. To accomplish this, press "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "Delete" at the same time and, when the window pops up, select "Lock Computer".

How do I locate and use my virtual drive?
Your virtual drive is located on \\basrv1\ and, if you happen to lose connection, may be re-mapped by doing the following: right-click on the "My Computer" icon and choose "Map Network Drive", once the window pops-up, type in the location of your folder. Next, choose the driver letter you wish to assign to the drive. Please make sure that the box is checked to "reconnect at logon".
When you want to access this folder, you may use Windows Explorer or by opening "My Computer". The space on this folder does have a limit, so please only use the space for data you would like to have backed up nightly and data you want to be able to access from another computer.
