Multimedia - Multimedia Classrooms

LH 202 is equipped with a multimedia podium that includes a computer, monitor, VCR, audio mixer, and two microphones. The podium is padlocked (contact Rebecca Williams for combination). The lecture hall is equipped with a Sharp LCD projector located in a locked room at the back of the hall; this projector can be operated via a remote control located in the podium. Users do not need direct access to this projector.

The two microphones available to users are 1) a wireless, handheld microphone, and, 2) a wireless, lavaliere microphone (see pictures below). Both microphones operate on 9-volt batteries. An extra supply of these batteries is located on the top shelf of the podium. The audio mixer located in the podium has separate, labeled volume controls for each of these microphones, as well as the VCR and computer (see picture below).

Sound equipment is locked in the front closet of LH 202. Users do not need access to this equipment, as all adjustments can be made on the audio mixer.
